Salesforce Production and Sandbox Configuration

Salesforce Production and Sandbox Configuration

  1. Production Salesforce Org: It is recommended that a Production Salesforce Org only connects to a Production T4S Server, and that T4S Server only able to connect to the Production Content Manager. This ensures that the production environment is not affected by any changes made in the non-production environment.

  2. Development and Testing: Multiple Salesforce Sandbox can be configured to connect to a single Test T4S Server and then different non-production Content Manager instances, such as Dev or UAT. Alternatively, the single Test T4S Server can be configured to use a single non-production Content Manager, by having each Salesforce Org restricted to a specific parent Container. This ensures that the development and testing environment is isolated from the production environment.
