Download listing

Each Connection shows a list of downloads. These are database records maintained by the Downloader service to manage the download process, and may or may not correspond to files currently on disk.

Changes to download status and progress are automatically sent from the service, and will be reflected in any connected client application regardless of the source.

A number of on-demand actions are available for each specific download, depending on its status. These are accessed via context menu on the applicable row. All actions are invoked via the Downloader service.

Download Now

Place the download into the queue immediately, for download at the next opportunity. Only available when the download has not started.

Cancel

Cancel a download in progress, only available while in progress. Unless you’re downloading very big files you probably won’t use this much.

Save local

Get a copy of a downloaded file from the service. Only available when a download has completed successfully, prompts for a save location.

Ignore

Marks a file to be ignored by the automated download process, useful if you want to temporarily or permanently omit an available download. Only available when the download has not started.

Re-Queue

Only available for failed downloads, or those set to Ignore. Sets the download to Retry status so it can be processed.

Remove

Deletes a download from the list completely. Note that any downloads that still appear for the Connection will be added as if a new file on next refresh, in this case the Ignore option may suit better.
