Service

The Downloader service installs as a Windows Service. This is a .Net 5 based application that should run on all recent versions of Windows. This includes Server 2016 and Server 2019.

Enterprise installations can have the service installed on a server, with any number of client applications throughout the network.

Client Application

The Downloader client is a .Net 5 / WinUI 3 application. This allows us to provide the most up-to-date user interface experience, although it may not run correctly on older versions of Windows. We recommend a build version of at least 19041 - in practice this means Windows 10 20H2 or newer.
