Messenger Visitor
The Messenger Visitor object provided by the Salesforce package is pre-configured to display some basic visitor information and the messaging Lightning component out-of-the-box.
The Messenger Visitor uses standard Send2CRM identification functionality. This means visitor behavior is also available in Salesforce once a conversation is started - even if the visitor hasn’t filled out any other forms!
Standard and Custom objects
If your Send2CRM mappings create Leads or Contacts, or any other standard or custom object, the Send2CRM Messenger Lightning component can be added to those record pages too.
If the record relates to an identified visitor who has never used messenger functionality, some additional setup is required. Just click the Enable Messenger button and you’re good to go!
