Rapid Visitor Update

When messages are sent and received, the messaging client enters rapid update mode. During this time more frequent Send2CRM visitor update requests are sent to reduce latency for received messages.

Some settings for rapid update mode may be modified to fine-tune to suit your needs.

If business hours are configured in the messaging service, and indicate that the sales team is currently offline, rapid update mode is not used.

Messages sent from the website use the form submission mechanism, so these are always sent on demand. Messages received from the service, and marking of received messages as read, uses the Send2CRM visitor update mechanism to which rapid update mode applies.
