Troubleshooting Service

The Send2CRM Salesforce implementation uses a Managed Package, so debug logging is not automatically available in subscriber orgs. If the information below doesn’t help, contact us and we can arrange a time to debug remotely.

Temporary debug log

A mechanism is included to expose detailed debug messages for a short period of time. Access this via the Send2CRM app, on the Send2CRM Debug tab.

This functionality is intended for short-term development use only. It is not recommended for production use, and may cause performance issues with heavy traffic volume. This functionality is intended for administrative use only.

To start listening for debug messages, choose a number of minutes from the dropdown and click Start. Perform actions on the website such as form submissions, and the screen will update automatically with any applicable messages.

Messages are not saved. Click the Copy to Clipboard button below the list and paste into your favorite text editor to keep for later.

Error Emails

The Send2CRM service can also be configured to send emails for unexpected errors. These automatically include relevant debug messages leading up to the error.
