Mapping Wizard

Provides a convenient interface to manage CDP4S field mappings. Automatically populates the available Salesforce Field options based on the configured master object. If the master object is Lead and Lead conversion handling is enabled, fields only available on Contacts will also be included with [Contact] prefix.

Several helpers are provided to assist with generating the correct Sitecore Personalize Guest Field value:

Fetch example record

Enter the email address of a known Guest, and click Search Sitecore Personalize. CDP4S will retrieve the Guest data and display a dropdown list of available fields with values for easy identification.

Data Extension

CDP4S recognizes Sitecore custom data extensions in the form “data:<extName>:<key>:<fieldName>”. Enter the name, key and field name into the separate fields to have CDP4S generate the correctly formed accessor.

Identity event data

CDP4S can also extract custom data from Identity events - this allows sending this data direct from your website or other front end. Any additional event data sent with the IDENTITY event can be accessed.

Literal value

This allows mapping fixed values. For example you may wish to set a default Lead Source or specify a Queue as the Owner Id. Values are parsed as JSON so numbers and boolean values are automatically coerced to the correct type. The value entered will be validated and formatted after entry.

Saved Field Mappings

Click Add Mapping to create and save a new mapping, which will then appear in the list.

To delete an existing mapping, choose Delete from the actions menu on the applicable row. To change a mapping simply add a new one with the desired settings and delete the old one.
