Tips and tricks
Fixed value matching keys
Literal “Value” form fields are allowed as Matching keys. This can be useful to restrict to a subset of the available records.
Visitor-related matching
When a mapping specifies visitor identification, the record related to previously identified visitors will always take precedence over any Matching key fields.
Submit forms for existing visitors without having to re-enter identifying information
Match records where the identifiers have changed
This can be very useful in many situations and avoids duplicates. In other situations you may want to match existing records by the entered details regardless - in this case, disable identification for that particular mapping.
