Analytics information includes summarized session information, goals and segments. CDP4S provides visualization of this information for each individual, and on-demand of more detailed session data, using a custom Lightning Web Component.

This component can be added to the Guest (Sitecore_CDP_Guest__c) custom object, or to your configured master object. If your master object is a Lead and conversion handling is enabled, it can also display data on Contacts that have been converted from Leads.

To add the Sitecore CDP Guest component:

  • Browse to a detail page for the appropriate object, and choose Edit Page from the setup menu at top right to bring up the Lightning Builder.

  • Drag the Sitecore CDP Guest component from the Custom section in the Components toolbox to the desired area on the page. We recommend creating a separate tab for it.

  • Save the page, and activate if necessary.

CDP4S will automatically handle locating the correct Guest data for your record, if it exists.

Goals

Goal detail is record per session/visit. To see the breakdown of Goal names and values, choose Goals from the actions drop-button for the desired row in the Sessions table.

Detailed Session Events

CDP4S only stores summary information for a limited number of sessions in Salesforce. The full list of events associated with a session can be retrieved from Sitecore CDP on demand by choosing Fetch Events… from the actions drop-button for the desired row in the Sessions table.

Note: all available sessions are retrieved at once with Guest data. For maximum efficiency this callout is only made once each time you view Guest data, and the Guest is updated with the latest information at the same time. You may notice the Refresh Analytics button becomes unavailable when you do this.
