Service sync

When visitors are Identified, Send2CRM automatically sends visitor updates to the configured service. Responses contain any personalization data configured in the service.

The Send2CRM client sends regular updates for timely information, but only when necessary. The last sync time is maintained and compared with the most recent activity to determine when updates are required. Updates are not sent for every page load, and only relevant session data is included to keep the payload to a minimum.

If the visitor has multiple windows open on the website, Send2CRM uses a communication mechanism to ensure that this does not duplicate service calls and to keep in-memory data up-to-date across all windows.

You can fine-tune the sync frequency if required with the optional setting to cater to varying visitor volumes.
