Synchronization Administration

Administering which Salesforce objects to synchronize is done in the 'FuseIT M4S' application which is launched from the Sitecore Launch Pad. The first time this is launched, the configuration defaults to synchronizing Contacts, Leads and Accounts:

The columns in the table are:

  1. Name: The name of the Salesforce object. E.g. Contact.
  2. Is Active: Whether the configuration is active. 
  3. Interval: The interval at which the object is synchronized in minutes.
  4. Last Synched: The UTC time that the last synchronization took place.
  5. Records: The number of records in the MongoDB cache. Clicking this number will display the records.
  6. SF: Clicking this link will display the records that exist in Salesforce.
  7. Refresh: Deletes and repopulates the data for the object.
  8. Edit: Edits the configuration.
  9. Delete: Deletes the configuration. 

Editing a Configuration

Clicking the 'Edit' link for a configuration will display the following page:

The Is Active and Interval fields can be edited. Click Save to update the configuration or Cancel to return to the previous page.

Adding a Configuration

Clicking the New button will display the following form:

When the configuration has been set, click the Save button to add the configuration or Cancel to return to the previous page.
