March 2026 - Send2CRM Essentials v1.20

In this release: Website error capturing and reporting, and user experience improvements

Summary

Mar 16, 2026 The v1.20 release of Send2CRM Essentials includes the capability to centrally record errors detected in the website. This is a great way to help detect issues your website visitors are experiencing on your website.

The release also includes user experience improvements for Salesforce users who are setting up and troubleshooting Send2CRM.

New features

Added a means of reporting errors from the website client and Send2CRM Salesforce package, that stores useful information for later troubleshooting. Errors can be automatically reported with the built-in logging and/or directly sent.

The website client will report errors by default. See the client configuration for instructions on disabling this.
The Send2CRM Salesforce package can also report errors, such as automation errors not reported by the client. To report these errors, and Administrator can check the ‘Report Errors' custom setting under ‘Send2CRM Configuration’.

To view all reported errors, and Administrator can visit the ‘Error Reports’ Tab in Send2CRM.

Having both website and salesforce error reporting enabled can create multiple reports for the same error.

Added individual API key and domain values with copy buttons to the Website Client page, to improve convenience and reduce errors.

Added an optional Apex log handler that allows customers to programmatically process messages produced by Send2CRM, allowing for advanced logging use cases.

Improvements to existing features

Improved the Website Debug page user experience so that a selection is not required to proceed when only one website exists.

Improved the Website Client page user experience by hiding the button to generate a new API key when the current user does not have administrator permissions.

Bug fixes

Fixed an issue where having a large number of automations would trigger Salesforce limits to be exceeded, causing Send2CRM updates to fail.

Fixed an issue that made it difficult for Salesforce developers to write tests with good coverage for custom Apex form validators due to the accessibility level of a related Apex class.

Fixed an issue found when using the Scaling service with multiple website domains, where the source website may have been incorrectly identified. This only applies to customers who are using the Scaling service.
